OUR ALPACA EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST WAY TO MEET OUR HERD OF EIGHT ALPACAS, GIVING YOU AN HOUR TO MEET, LEARN ABOUT AND WALK THEM ACROSS OUR STUNNING KENT COUNTRYSIDE.
Each of our alpacas has their own distinct personality, but they all really enjoy going on their daily walks with members of the public- in fact they wait by the gate when they know it is time! They are all also incredibly friendly, albeit occasionally a bit cheeky, and love being around humans.
The experience gives you plenty of opportunities to take photos with them and we love to see them so please make sure to share them with us on social media following your walk.
The walk includes a section through our woodland walk which has been freshly extended by our Estates team as well as across our grounds, so please do make sure that anyone you want to be able to take part in the experience would be able to keep up, and that they all wear appropriate footwear.
Although we do aim for everyone to have their own alpaca throughout the experience, there may be instances during the busier seasons where it is one alpaca between two, but we will ensure that you all get a fair chance at walking our friendly alpaca family!
Please note that this experience is not suitable for children aged under 10. Also, as the terrain is uneven in many places, this experience is unsuitable for those with vision impairments or mobility issues.
If you or a member of your group has severe additional needs (including autism/ADHD), we recommend booking a private Meet & Greet session, where you can enjoy your time with alpacas on a more personal basis.
